Hi! I’m Pastor Jason. My lovely bride Becky, our soon-to-be 6-year-old daughter, Mara, our year-old daughter, Gabriella, our puppy Kodiak, and I are all glad to introduce ourselves to you! We’re so excited to be here in the wonderful town of Fairbanks. I grew up Outside, spending most of my life in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I went to college in the small town of New Ulm, Minnesota, at Martin Luther College. After graduating from there in 2007, I went on to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin, where I continued in my studies to become a pastor. I graduated from there in May 2011, and I was blessed to be assigned to serve the congregation of Light of the World here in Fairbanks.

I am usually working in my office at home, connecting with people, or spending time with my family. You might even catch me walking Kodiak or chasing Mara on her bike all around Fairbanks. We love the outdoors, trying everything from hiking and kayaking and camping to biking and skiing...basically anything that gets us spending time outdoors and enjoying God’s beautiful creation (yes, even at 40 below!). My family and I are so happy to be up here at the Last Frontier, serving the members of Light of the World and the community of Fairbanks. God is awesome! I would love to meet you and to have the honor of sharing our greatest Friend, Jesus, and his amazing love with you!
